LOW GIRL


Low Girl is the work of multi-instrumentalist Sarah Cosgrove alongside bandmates Toby, Tom and Brad. Described by DIY Magazine as “a peppy new pop talent”, the band released debut EP ‘Big Now’ in May 2021. The EP was preceded by the release of the title track, picking up support from Spotify, DIY, LOTBF, BBC Radio 1, Radio X and was playlisted by BBC 6Music. A debut, sold out London headline show at The Lexington, BBC introducing slots at Reading & Leeds and SXSW and supports with Dream Wife, Pom Poko, October Drift and The Murder Capital have cemented the live sound of a band coming of age. In March 2022, Low Girl released sophomore EP ‘So Cool’. The title track was another irresistible piece of alt-pop, continuing the themes found across her debut EP, feelings of loneliness, self-worth, mental health and the constant trials and struggles of finding one’s identity growing up. So Cool went onto gain BBC Introducing Radio 1 track of the week in April 2022, alongside major Spotify support. Upon returning from SXSW Austin in March, the band headed straight back into the studio to record follow up EP 'Uh-Oh', which scored their second BBC 6music playlist, with the single, ‘Bored’. The new EP took the band to a new level, cementing the exciting groundwork they have put in place over the last 18 months. In August 2023, Low Girl will release new music and head out on a 10 date headline tour of the UK, including a date at new music festival conference 'Beyond The Music'.
